Kjus Race School

Lasse Kjus Race School gives active racers the chance to train under supreme conditions with top qualified coaches.

The Race School is managed by the former Norwegian national alpine coach Rolle Johanson, and his team of highly qualified alpine coaches. Rolles WC expertise and training skills are well known through Norway and Sweden.
Kjus Race School started as a cooperation between the Olympic gold medal winner Lasse Kjus and Hafjell Alpinsenter. The idea was to combine Lasse`s experience with Rolle`s unique coaching ability. The Race School has become a huge success in Scandinavia. Beside regular training camps, the Race School is also in charge of Alpine line at the Lillehammer Gymnasium and one junior FIS team.

For season 2009/10 we are organizing a special international training camps for the racers from “small nations” who will learn how to ski faster and with more confidence, improving FIS points and rankings and even trying to qualify and perform on big events like OL, WM, Jr WM, EYOF, etc.

In our camps, training is organized throughout the whole year according a detailed program. Camps are taking place in the Norwegian Olympic ski resort Hafjell, Norwegian summer ski resort Galdhøpiggen, Hintertux / Austria and in indoor ski in Witenburg / Germany. During the summer, dryland camps are organized in the Hafjell-Lillehammer area.
 
Camps can be booked for different durations. Furthermore we offer the possibility of organized training trough the whole year for the entire Ski Teams, Ski Clubs and as well as individual one-to-one training.

What this program offers:

• DH, GS, SL and SG gate training techniques 
• Each racer is observed and followed up individually with imply of the right drills.
• Video analysis using advanced software 
• Off hill activities and dryland training
