GETTING HERE - Travel Routes and transportation

“All roads lead to  Rome” – not quite  so with Hafjell, though it is very  easy to get here. Hafjell is located in Oppland county, only 160 km from  Oslo Airport. Two main arteries within transportation are passing right outside the  lift system; the highway E6 and the railway.

BY CAR App. 200 km  (2,5 hours) from downtown Oslo. Follow E6 north. When in Øyer, 15 km north of Lillehammer, follow exit to Hafjell. The road standard is good.      By Bus NOR-WAY Bus Express is daily trafficking through Hafjell. The routes are served by Nordfjordekspressen and Gudbrandsdalsekspressen. Bus Schedule from Lillehammer By train NSB has several daily arrivals and departures. Lillehammer Railway Station is the main station but some trains also stop at Hafjell Station.   By boat Color Line and Stena Line has several departures from Copenhagen, Hirtshals or Frederikshavn. Buy packages with accommodation, lift tickets, ski rental and transport from Oslo, or in combination with driving your own car. By plane To Oslo-Gardermoen Airport. Located only 160 km from Hafjell. From here you can rent a car or pick up a direct train from the terminal. Norwegian - SAS  Travel in Hafjell If you travel by your own car you can easily reach the major attractions of the region within 15-30 minutes. The winterbus shuttles Lillehammer-Hafjell-Lillehammer and the nightbus departures Lillehammer every Sunday morning at 2 am. The Skibus is also operating in the Hafjell area.
