Our most important guests - the kids

Barneland is a winter paradise for kids between the ages of 4 and 6 who want to try skiing for the first time. Here the kids will meet the Hafjell animals Nora, Gaia and Pelle, who take them out skiing.

The ski school at Barneland is based on having a great time on skis through fun activities and overcoming challenges at the right level. Your kids will have plenty of memorable ski experiences to bring home with them after their holiday here at Hafjell.

Barneland is a safe, fenced-in area adjacent to the indoor child care facilities. Your kids will learn basic ski techniques such as braking, turning and stopping. When they get tired, we stop for some juice and cookies. There may even be time for some romping around in the snow.

Age groups:

• 4 years- Hafjellharen Nora
• 5 years- Hafjellreven Gaia
• 6 years- Hafjellbjørnen Pelle

Barneland is club-based, starts on Mondays and lasts 3-5 days. Both morning and afternoon group courses are offered.
