Valley and mountain

The Hafjell area has a lot to offer for the nature loving visitors, from roaring rapids in the Gudbrandsdalslågen river to quiet lakes on the mountain plateau. The locals really know how to enjoy the beauty and the possibilities granted by the scenic surroundings, and they are more than willing to share their treaures with those who stop by. Trails are marked and fishing is an activity that is available by buying a licence at the local store.

Fishing places for handicapped are also prepared, and maps are marked with the best view spots.

Public right of access
In Norway we have public right of access to areas that are out of boundaries. Open fire is however prohibited during the summer months. Does also apply to primus stove.
