The Norwegian Road Museum is located in a multi-purpose recreational area at the gateway to "the King of valleys", Gudbrandsdalen.
The museum consists of an extensive indoor exhibition, as well as a 75-acre open-air museum featuring buildings, road systems, bridges, road building equipment and machines. Here you will experience both nature and road technology in a pleasant combination.
Rock blasting museum. Come along on an exciting tunnel wandering in a tunnel that is 240 m long, which gives authentic and dramatic glimt about the history of rock blasting. Sounds, light and pictures play a central role in the presentation. Free admittance.
