Hikes

The new Gondola is an excellent point of departure for a number of scenic hikes in the woods or at the mountain plateau. You can choose rather short loops in the surrounding area, or longer hikes to summer farms or peaks in the Øyer mountain. Some would simply like to hike back down to the valley, crossing pastures and passing fancy lodges.

Hike to the waterfall. A  family hike.
From Mosetertoppen (top of Gondola) 1,5 km in easy and hilly terrain. This is a recommended hike for families where you can tell a story about the creature hiding behind the waterfall….(We are not far away from the Troll Park in Hunderfossen). And if the kids have more energy left when returning to Mosetertoppen the jungle-gym will certainly offer further physical challenges.
