The Gondola to the top!
The gondola in Hafjell takes you up 586 vertical meters to Mosetertoppen in 9 minutes - an experience in itself. A perfect activity that suits both young and old.
You will arrive at Mosetertoppen. This is the meeting point for all bikers and hikers. Here you will find our pumptrack and playground as well as two restaurants and Favn Bike rental. Both wheelchair and baby strollers can go up in the gondola, dogs are also welcome!

Meet Isa this summer
Every Sunday in July you can meet Hafjell's own mascot, Isa, at the pumptrack in Hafjell.

You can also walk "Isa's nature trail" on all days we are open. Pick up a map in the Bike shop, at the top of the gondola (lift house) or at the bike rental at Favn. Find all the posts on the map and get a prize! The prize can be collected from the bike rental at Favn after the activity. This is a perfect activity for the children.
Lunch with a view
From the Gondola top the first thing you will see is Skavlen Restaurant, which is situated in a natural setting with a fantastic view. At Skavlen, it is recommended to treat yourself to a good lunch or a cinnamon bun outside in the sun wall on the large terrace.
At the gondola top you will also find Playa del Sætra, a smaller outdoor restaurant with a slightly simpler menu.
Hafjell Bike Park
Try lift-accessed mountain biking - the ultimate thrill and a perfect activity to enjoy together, regardless of previous experience!
All mountain bikes with good brakes good suspension can be used in our bike park, but in order to get the best experience we reccommend renting a downhill bike. These can be found in our rental shop a the base of the gondola. Helmet and protective equipment are included when renting a downhill bike.
Playground
Next to the pumptrack is a playground for the little ones, with fun climbing elements and challenges suitable for both young and old children. It is free, with benches available and open to all.
We also have a swing stand and a slide, located right next to Skavlen restaurant.
Pump track
Close to the restaurants you will find our popular pump track where children and adults can ride bikes together. If you have your own bikes, you can bring them up with the gondola lift. You can also rent bikes here in our bike rental shop.
Hiking and trail biking
There are many hiking routes starting from the gondola top. Hafjell offers a big trail network that suits the whole family, whether on foot or by bike. Take the kids for a walk to "The Waterfall" and tell the story of who lives behind the waterfall, or take your girlfriend on a trail bike ride in the mountain area.
The gondola has room for a pram, 2 bikes, a wheelchair and dogs are also welcome.
