The autumn holidays are approaching and we are ready for the closing weekend in Hafjell Bike Park. Check out the program.

Hafjell Bike Park is open every day from 10.00 - 16.00.
Hafjell bike rental is open every day from 09.30 - 16.30.
Favn bike rental is open every day from 10.30 - 16:00.
The Hafjell alpine center ticket office is open 09.00 - 15.00 on weekdays, 10:00 - 15:00 on weekends.
Hafjell sport is open every day from 10:00 - 16:00

Autumn holiday info

Events for whole week, Saturday 30 September – Sunday 8 October:

Use the lifts with the winter card: Have you bought a season pass for the winter season 23/24? Then you can use it in the bike park (Gondola and chairlift 2) from 30th of september to 8th of October. The same applies to those who have bought a new annual pass. If you already have an annual pass, you can use it as usual all week, and this can be recharged only after the autumn holidays (Monday in week 41).
Ride the whole week and pay for 4 days: If you buy a lift ticket for the whole of week 40 (Monday - Sunday), you only pay for 4 days. You can find the discount in our online store
Hafjell 4 reel challenge: Can you create the best Instagram reel of the 2023 season? Then this competition is for you! The reel must be exactly 20 seconds long, so here it is important to get in a lot of action within a short period of time. The video must be posted and tagged with @hafjellbikepark and #hafjell4reel, by latest Saturday 7.10. 16:00. We will announce the winner at 17:00 during the award ceremony. Good luck!
Most runs in 2023, finals week: The autumn holidays will be the last chance to collect laps for one of the most rewarding competitions of the season. Who will walk away with the victory in the most runs in the Hafjell Bike Park season 2023? This is usually a tight race right to the end, so here it is important to hang on throughout the week. The top 3 will be announced during the prize-giving on Saturday 7th of October at 17:00.

Detailed program:

Tuesday, 3rd of October

• FREE test ride in our bike park - FAVN Bike rental
Tuesday 3.10, at 11:00 - 15:00

This day there will be a bike demo and guided tours in our green trails in the bike park, a golden opportunity to test our product and our rental bikes! Children from 8 - 13 years old can borrow a full suspension 24" or 26" bike for free for a ride in our bike park. From the gondola top, we ride the Familieløypa (16) down to the chairlift, take the chairlift up, and then we ride the Flowklypa (19) down to the gondola top again. Borrowing of kids bikes are free on this day, but this applies to a maximum of one trip. Children can cycle with an adult, or join our guided tours that start every hour on the day. (the age limit for riding a chairlift alone is 12 years old). The bikes can be picked up at our rental at FAVN. If parents want to join, they can bike on their own bike, or rent a full suspension Scott Genius from us for NOK 150 per trip.

Guided tours on this day start at 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, and 14.00.

Thursday, 5th of October

• Junior Pumptrack race with Isa
Thursday 5.10 13:00

Join the pump track race for kids and youngsters. Meet at Gondoltoppen at 1 p.m. either as a biker or supprter. For the youngest children, there will be an opportunity to borrow a bike, so there is no reason not to join this happening! There are rumors that our mascot ISA will also take a spin on the pump track this day, and she will bring prizes to everyone who takes part.

There is no registration needed, just turn up at Mosetertoppen at the given time.

As always, Friday evening in the closing weekend offers a good atmosphere!

Saturday, 7th of October

• Hafjell Cup #5 - King & Queen of the mountain
Saturday 7.10 09:00

Saturday morning the stage is set for the classic King & Queen of the mountain! Joint the start at the top of the chair lift, first man/woman down wins. This race is included as the last part of the Hafjell Cup 2023, and the winner gets his/her name on the king and queen trophy.

• Skavlen Longjump
Saturday 7.10 13.00:

On Saturday, at 1:00 p.m., there will be a long jump competition from the terrace at Skavlen restaurant. This is a competition that is suitable for the vast majority of people. The competition is about gaining speed and jumping as far as you can through the hole in the railing of Skavlen's terrace. We promise nice prizes to the winners and there will also be raffle prizes among all who participate. There is no registration here, just turn up at the given time.

• Last Partytrain of the year
Saturday 7.10 16.00

Don't miss the last PARTYTRAIN of the year! We all bike down together from the top of chairlift 2. From here the train will go down Moe'town, Parkløypa, Nameless, Brattlykja and Dessert. Hope we can end a a great season together with as many as possible.

• PRIZE CEREMONY
Saturday 7.10 17:00
Right after the last Partytrain of the year, we gather by the rental shop and Woody's bar for a prize ceremony.
