In the heart of the mountain
Favn is the place to stay within easy reach of activities for the whole family, both summer and winter. In winter, the pistes are right on your doorstep – with family-friendly slopes and magic carpet lifts for the very young. In summer, you have direct access to Hafjell’s new pump track and downhill biking.

Modern architecture
Apartments have 2 to 5 bedrooms. One of the signature features of the complex is the characteristic window design that offers spectacular views and creates stunning light and a unique sense of space.
Favn - a mountain village unlike any other
In the heart of Hafjell – on Gondoltoppen – you will find the new mountain village of Favn. Designed by architect Reiulf Ramstad with roots in traditional Nordic building tradition.
Hafjell is known for its range of activities, with alpine slopes in a class of their own and endless ski trails into the mountains. In the summer months, the area offers many hiking and cycling trails and fantastic nature experiences. In the local community, you can participate in cultural events and not least enjoy excellent local food.
Favn ski and bike rental
Guests staying at Favn can have pre-ordered ski equipment delivered directly to the ski lockers belonging to the apartments. The ski rental has its own department at Favn with a small ski shop.
In the summer, you can rent downhill bikes, trail bikes, both electric and regular, as well as children's bikes. For the pump track, we also lend children's bikes.
Restaurant Favn
The restaurant house is designed as a unique gathering point. Both during the day and in the evening, you can enjoy a tasty lunch with good friends, or have a good dinner in the evening.
Favn café
Right next to the Restaurant House is Favn Café. Here you can sit down for a cup of coffee, cocoa for the kids and the day's baking. A small and pleasant place that is a popular addition to the entire area of Favn.
Embrace the gym
On the ground floor of Favn B is the Favn fitness room. The gym is specially designed by Aksel Lund Svindal with exercise equipment from American Barbell and Spirit, as well as free weights, kettlebells, treadmills, mats and the like. Access to the gym is only for our guests who stay at Favn or in Favn Chalet and there is a 16-year age limit to be there alone. If you are younger, your parent must be present.
Embrace meeting rooms

Apartments
The apartment yard consists of 58 holiday apartments over four floors with lift access. The apartments are mainly from approx. 62-88 sqm with 2 to 5 bedrooms. One of the signature elements of the apartment yard is the characteristic window shapes that provide beautiful light, great views and a unique sense of space.
Several of the apartments will have balconies where you can enjoy the nice days, and other apartments will have "sit-in windows", which are wide window sills where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the view - almost like being outside. Some of the front/top apartments will have a loft solution with a TV room and two extra bedrooms. These apartments will be approx. 117 m2.
Embrace Chalèt
Favn Chalèt is a collection of luxury apartments of about 80 sqm with a very high standard. The apartments are in separate buildings in contrast to the Favn apartment yard. They also have their unique characteristics, as these are rented by different owners. The apartment has 3-4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen, warm and cozy living room with a view of Gondoltoppen. Slip right into the winter magic with a short distance to everything.
The mountain right outside the door
With Favn as a starting point, Øyerfjellet is easily accessible. Here you will find mountain roads and trails that are made for cycling, with gentle terrain and many stops. Several summer pastures that are open in the summer with both animals and an open café. Otherwise, there are plenty of idyllic bathing lakes and fishing lakes in the mountains.
In winter, you will also find the trail network that Hafjell and Øyerfjellet have to offer practically right outside the door. There are a total of approx. 500 km of groomed trails for both classic and skating, and there are connected ski tracks all the way to Rondane in the north and the Birkebeiner trail that goes to Rena in the south.
Family areas
Hafjell is known for its family areas, parks and activities for the youngest members of the family. In total, there are three family areas and three terrain parks. The fact that the slopes are a family favorite is not without reason. The gondola top is full of fun activities for the kids, whether it's the children's slope with its own band lifts for the little ones, Diamond Hunt with our mascot ISA, or you have older children who want to ride boxes and rails in our Backyard park.
Several days a week throughout the winter, lots of exciting things happen for the children at Gondoltoppen, whether it's Junior Ski Patrol, Isa's diamond hunt, or you want to challenge each other to the Audi Ski Run? We have a completely raw gate run with a timer located on Gondoltoppen.
Skiing in and out
From Favn you have all the possibilities within reach. You are right in the heart of the ski resort and the slopes, and from here you can continue on to the top in our 8-seater chairlift that takes you to 1056 meters above sea level at Hafjelltoppen, or further down to Olympic trails and family areas at the bottom. The entire ski resort is facing the sun and has good snow conditions from mid-November to mid-April.
In total, Hafjell offers 50 km of alpine trails and is today Norway's 3rd largest ski resort - and still developing! Parking space is included with all apartments.
