Nothing beats fresh mountain air in the summer, and in Hafjell you can combine this with many exciting experiences. With the Bike Park, proximity to many fun summer attractions, and with the mountain itself as an attraction, many people have discovered that Hafjell is also a superb summer destination!
Seasonal Opening Bike Park
From 19 - 22 June, we kick off the season with a real opening weekend! There will be a product demo, free bike courses and lots of good atmosphere! See the full program here
"Champion of the family"
Play and learn while being out in the fresh mountain air! Together with the Vitensenteret Innlandet, we are launching "The Champion of the Family", which is a trail with fun and challenging installations inspired by the TV show The Master of Champions. Here, young and old will solve exciting tasks together, everything from thought puzzles to practical challenges. A fun activity for the whole family.
Isa's nature trail
This summer, there will be a new nature trail that goes from Favn and up to Isa's cabin, where Hafjell's mascot lives. This trail has also been created in collaboration with Vitensenteret Innlandet. Fun and practical activities await you here for the whole family. The tasks are adapted to different ages and skill levels, so there is something to try out here for the whole family.
Interactive Hiking Map
Experience the best of Øyerfjellet with your phone as a GPS! We have put some of the nicest hikes in Hafjell on an interactive map, with thorough tour descriptions, so you can easily find the best gems. Here you will find tour suggestions for both walking and cycling.
With Favn as a center of activity
This summer, Favn will be the very heart of activities in Hafjell, as we move the bike rental up here. This will also be the starting point for downhill trails, guided tours and other activities. Here it will also be possible to meet our mascot, Isa, who will arrange small and large activities for children.
In the bike rental, we also get brand new, full suspension e-bikes that you can rent. We also have e-bikes for children, so the whole family can go on fun trips into the mountains.
Weatherproof
This summer you can also book guided tours and exciting activities in the mountains with our partner, Værfast. Also remember to visit their charming café in the village center of Ringebu.
In addition to all this, we will also be renovating several of the trails. So in other words, there is an exciting and fresh summer ahead in Hafjell!
