AUDI FIS WORLD CUP FINALE - Hafjell

The International Ski Federation (FIS) has awarded the World Cup final in Slalom and Giant Slalom 2026 to Hafjell!
We are talking about the world's best alpinists, men and ladies, raw skiing and great entertainment from start to finish.

The World Cup square will be filled with good food, cold drinks and live music during breaks and for après-ski. 

The arena opens at 08:00, and we promise a real celebration through two days packed with speed and excitement. A total of four races with subsequent prize ceremonies every day. For an exclusive experience, you can buy tickets to VIP Club Gold, or you can catch the excitement of the VIP Grandstand. On Tuesday 24 March, we will also arrange a number draw in the finish area from 19.00. You will then meet the 15 best ladies and gentlemen on stage!

Tuesday 24 March

09:30: 1st Round Giant Slalom Men

10.30: 1st round Slalom women

Between 1 and 2 rounds: Entertainment area in the arena 

12:30 p.m.: 2nd round Giant Slalom men 

13.30: 2nd round Slalom women 

Immediately after the 2nd round: Prize ceremony and distribution of crystal balls

Wednesday 25 March

09:30: 1st Round Giant Slalom Women 

10.30: 1st round Slalom men 

Between 1 and 2 rounds: Entertainment area in the arena

Ticket and admission

🎟️ A ticket is required for entrance to all audience areas in the finish area and along the course. Buy tickets here!
🪑 The seating stand has 850 seats 
🚪 Entrance via Skitorget or the top of the tunnel (at the meeting point trails 47 and 41). NB: to enter the arena from the mountain, you must use trail 23 Easy Descent.
🎿 Ski storage available at the entrance to the arena or you can book a ski locker for safe storage of your ski equipment in the basement of the gondola. Order ski lockers!

Parking and transport

⛷️ Are you going skiing? Hafjell Alpine Center's guests use regular parking spaces as far as there is space.
🏡 Guests in Sørlia can take a bus from 11:00–17:00, from the south end of the parking lot. Pick-up south of Hafjell Pizza at Skivei 82.
🇳🇴 World Cup guests arriving by car park at Hunderfossen with a shuttle bus – departing approximately every 3 minutes.
🚌 We recommend everyone to travel by public transport to Hafjell. Check bus times on the entur.no or timetables of Hafjellbussen (free for everyone with a lift pass).

Lifts

🚡 On Saturday, the Gondola, Hafjellheis 1, Hafjellheis 2 and the Cable Car will start at 08:00. -Perfect for taking a few turns before the races begin.
⛰️ The Moseter lift runs until 18:00 – so you can easily get home after the event.
⛪️ On Sunday, there is normal lift operation, Hafjellheis 1 will depart from 0800.
❌ The forest lift will be closed all weekend

Trails

Hafjell is open as normal, but some trails will be closed in connection with the World Cup.
Closed trails:
❌ Trail 41 from Skogsheisen
❌ Trail 46
❌ Trail 47 from crossing trail 23
❌ Trail 60 from crossing trail 24.
❌ Ski road 80 to Sørlia, transport see further down.

Accessibility

🧑 🦽 Wheelchair spaces are available.
🍼 Strollers are not recommended – use a baby carrier for easier movement.

We expect a lot of audience members – buy tickets in advance for faster entry.
