Hafjell Bike Park

Downhill biking in Hafjell is a fun activity and for many people something new and exiting, meanwhile it is suitable for anyone who can ride a regular bike.

The concept is to use the ski lifts for transportation uphill, and then enjoy the downhill in the same way as when skiing or boarding in winter. Our 19 specially built trails curves down through the forest, and have fun elements adapted to all skill levels. The trails are graded from green to black difficulty level, where green is the easiest, and black is for the more experienced riders. We recommend using a downhill bike, but all mountain bikes with good suspension and hydraulic disc brakes can be used on our trails.

Hafjell Bike Park is open every weekend and everyday in mid summer. See our opening hours.

Pumptrack

A pumptrack is a round cycling track with a combination of bumps and turns. In such a cycling track you create momentum by doing pumping movements - hence the name "Pumptrack".

Our new paved pumptrack is located at Mosetertoppen. The new track is the main attraction in our family area which also has a skill centers and a playground for kids. Any bike can be used in the pumprack and we lend out bikes to the smallest kids without cost. Cycling in a pumptrack is a fun activity for all ages and you also train balance and fitness - in addition, it gives a great sense of mastery by managing to get speed without having to pedal.

There is also a pumptrack located at the base of the resort, next to Øyer Ungdomsskole. Here you can bring your own bike and try to get speed by pumping movements.
