Hafjell for Kids

The Hafjell area has a number of activities and experiences also for the little ones. Here the kids can not only enjoy the summer days outdoors but also indoors on a rainy day

Pumptrack

A pumptrack is a round cycling track with a combination of bumps and turns. In such a cycling track you create momentum by doing pumping movements - hence the name "Pumptrack".

Our new paved pumptrack is located at Gondoltoppen. The new track is the main attraction in our family area which also has a skill centers and a playground for kids. Any bike can be used in the pumptrack and you can rent bikes to the smallest kids for a small cost. Cycling in a pumptrack is a fun activity for all ages and you also train balance and fitness - in addition, it gives a great sense of mastery by managing to get speed without having to pedal.

There is also a pumptrack located at the base of the resort, next to Øyer Ungdomsskole. Here you can bring your own bike and try to get speed by pumping movements.

Next to the pumptrack is a playground for the little ones, with fun climbing elements and challenges suitable for both young and old children. It is free, with benches available and open to all.

We also have a swing stand and a slide, located right next to Skavlen restaurant.
